The Green Seattle Partnership onboarded a total of 26 new Forest Stewards at the beginning of this year. 19 went through the 2-day standard orientation with GSP staff and 7 are part of a new pilot program with the Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association (DNDA). They are spread across the city in 20 different parks. This brings our current total “Active” Forest Stewards to an amazing 172. It was long overdue since we hadn’t been able to bring on any new cohorts since 2021. We look forward to supporting this new cohort and plan to continue to bring on another new cohort in 2026. Please join us in welcoming them all!
