Volunteer Work Party every 1st Saturday of the month
The Leschi Natural Area is located at 36th Avenue and East Terrace about 1/4 mile up from Lake Washington Blvd. This small but significant Natural Area is one of a series of forested parklands (Madrona Woods, Leschi Park, Frink Park, Colman Park, and Mt. Baker Park) that offer green relief and important urban habitat for wildlife close to Lake Washington. It also offers a fantastic view overlooking Lake Washington for visitors to enjoy.
Activities may include planting native shrubs and trees, mulching, and pulling english ivy and other non-native plants. Tools, gloves, snacks and beverages provided. Come prepared for the weather.
