11/8 Hitt's Hill Park

Join the restoration effort at Hitt's Hill park! 

Join 600 volunteers around the city of Seattle as they celebrate the 3rd annual Green Seattle Day.  Get involved at a local park planting trees, spreading mulch and spending quality time with your fellow community members.

The friends of Hitt's Hill will be hosting a site for Green Seattle Day.  Wear sturdy shoes, work clothes and bring a water bottle and a good attitude.  Tools, gloves, and instruction will be provided.

Bus Directions:
Take Route #7 and depart bus at the intersection of Rainier Ave S and S Brandon Street.

DIRECTIONS BY CAR: From I-5 North or South, take the I-90 exit east toward BELLEVUE/SPOKANE. From I-90, take RAINER AVE S exit #3. Turn right onto RAINER AVE S. From Rainer AVE S. make a slight right onto 39th AVE S. Follow 39th Ave S up the hill and turn Right on S Brandon Street. Hitt's Hill Park will be on your RIGHT.

From the intersection of NE Pacific St and Montlake Blvd (across from Husky stadium) take Montlake Blvd southbound over the Montlake Bridge. Montlake Blvd turns into Montlake Place E. Montlake Place E will turn into 24th Ave E. Follow 24th Ave E up the hill. 24th Ave E will turn into 23rd Ave E. Continue to follow 23rd Ave E until you reach Rainier Ave. Turn left onto Rainier Ave S. Follow Rainier Ave S for a few miles (through Columbia City). Make a slight right onto 39th AVE S. Follow 39th Ave S up the hill and turn Right on S Brandon Street. Hitt's Hill Park will be on your RIGHT.
