New Year's Resolution Work Party! Don't put off that resolution to volunteer, this is that volunteer opportunity!!! Coffee and local donuts at 10:30AM. We'll be removing invasive plants along the Burke Gilman Trail in preparation for Spring planting of native plants.
Time: January 24, 2009 9am-1pm
Where to meet: We will meet at the street end at NE 60th and Pullman Ave. Follow signs to the work party.
What to bring: Weather dependent clothes (warmth and water proof considerations), a water bottle, sturdy shoes or boots. We will be dealing with blackberry so a pair of heavy leather gloves are suggested. We do have lighter gloves available.
Address and directions to site: Driving east on Sand Point Way, turn Left at the next stoplight after the one at Children's Hospital. Cross the Bridge and "immediately" turn right onto Pullman Ave. Drive Pullman to NE 60th.
Where to Park: Street parking at NE 60th Pullman Ave.
