We will be removing invasive plants and doing habitat restoration on the Burke Gilman Bike Trail between NE 60th and NE 65th paving the way for planting the area with native plants. We may be able to do some planting during the week. This will be a Saturday to Friday event and is open for schools, groups and companies who want to celebrate our earth. For special times and to arrange an activity suitable for your group, please contact Jim Corson at jim.corson@comcast.net.
Time: 9AM – 1PM with a 10:30AM coffee and treat break!
Special times can be arranged for your group
Where to meet: We’ll meet at the NE 60th and Pullman access to the Burke Gilman Bike Trail and will be working just to the north of this area.
What to bring: We have tools and light gloves. Because we will be working with blackberries, we suggest that you bring heavy leather gloves In addition, bring a water bottle and go “green” by bringing your own coffee cup.
