Daniel Lane, winner of the Stranger’s annual Strangercrombie auction benefiting Treehouse, has won the services of the Stranger’s strapping distribution team to clean up a city park of his choice.  In conjunction with the City of Seattle’s Urban Forestry department and The Green Seattle Partnership,  The assembled group of do-gooders will train their efforts on Lake People (Xacua’bs) Park at high noon on April 19, 2009.

 

Time:

  Noon-3PM

 

Where to meet:

  @ Xacua’bs (Lake People) Park, picnic table. 

 

What to bring: 

Good conversation and a desire to release the strangle-hold of Morning Glory!  Tools and refreshments provided.

 

Address and directions to site:

3070 South Bradford Street, Seattle 98108.   EASIEST route is MLK to South Dakota St, follow S Dakota to  31st Ave South, turn left (North) and follow to dead end (Bradford).  The park sits in a neighborhood that is wedged between MLK/RAINIER/ALASKA.
