EarthCorps and the Green Seattle Partnership want your help in keeping the forest of Golden Gardens Park beautiful! Located in North Seattle, Golden Gardens offers spectacular views of Puget Sound, is a great place to gather with friends, and is perfect for natural exploration and recreation.  By volunteering with us, you will be doing your part to ensure this amazing place stays amazing for future generations.  We will start the day off with a brief history of the park and a discussion on why the work we do is necessary and how it affects forest health.  Then we’ll get to work talking care of forest restoration sites, removing invasive plants, and planting the next generation of Seattle’s urban forest!
EarthCorps provides gloves, tools, light snacks, and general fun.  You bring warm clothes, a water bottle, and a sack lunch.  This is a family friendly event!
