Burke Gilman Blackberry Bash
Come down and join us in removing blackberries, ivy, and other invasive plants from the Burke Gilman trail. We’ll take a lunch break around noon so bring a sack lunch
Time: 10AM – 2PM
Where to meet: Meet at 4501 NE 55th St, Seattle 98105
What to bring: Weather dependent clothes, long pants and a long sleeve shirt are suggested, sturdy shoes, a water bottle and a sack lunch.
Address and directions to site: Driving east on Sand point Way, turn left at the first light after the light at Children’s Hospital. Cross the bridge and turn left at the four way stop onto NE 55th St. Drive west on NE 55th St to 45th Ave NE
Where to park: NE 55th St is pretty full on weekends, so turn right on 45th Ave NE and find parking on NE 56th St, then follow 45th Ave NE to its end on to the Burke Gilman Trail. We are working just to the east or left on the trail. Look for signs
