Volunteer Work Party every 1st Saturday of the month

This small but significant Natural Area is one of a series of forested parklands (Madrona Woods, Leschi Park, Frink Park, Colman Park, and Mt. Baker Park) that offer green relief and important urban habitat for wildlife close to Lake Washington.  It also offers a fantastic view overlooking Lake Washington for visitors to enjoy. 

When: 9:00am-1:00pm

What: Activities may include planting native shrubs and trees, mulching, and pulling english ivy and other non-native plants. 

Be Prepared: Please dress for the weather, wear close-toed shoes, bring snacks and a full water bottle. Tools and gloves will be provided.

Where: The Leschi Natural Area is  located at 36^th Avenue and East Terrace about 1/4 mile up from Lake Washington Blvd.  For exact meeting location please email Fran or Bunny Wood
