Trail Maintenance Training

Join Seattle Parks Trail Guru, Jacobo Jimenez, at Camp Long on September 9 and 10 for a trail maintenance training.  This training is aimed at preparing forest stewards to identify trails in need of maintenance and give them confidence to completely carry out that maintenance.  The training will cover corridors, tread, trail feature maintenance and pruning.

Part 1: September 9 3:30-7:30pm

Indoor/Classroom portion of the training at Camp Long Lodge

Part 2: September 10 9am-1pm

Outdoor/Work Party  portion of the training at Camp Long- come prepared to be outside and working rain or shine. A great opportunity to put all your new leaning into practice!

Parking is available at the Camp Long Environmental Learning Center. Please feel free to bring snacks/drinks for each training, no meals will be provided.
