2010 Forest Steward Training Series

— filed under:

Thank you to all of the people who attended the Forest Restoration trainings this year.  We are in the process of planning the trainings for 2011 so please feel free to let us know what type of trainings you would like to see next year! Contact Andrea at andream@cascadeland.org to share your ideas.

This year the Green Seattle Partnership is hosting a series of trainings to give our Forest Stewards the tools to be resourceful and efficient stewards of our natural areas.  There are a variety of topics for the trainings, feel free to register for one or all.  The trainings have been created to meet the needs of the current Green Seattle Partnership Forest Stewards, but are open to the public and possible NEW Forest Stewards.  (If you don't know what a Forest Steward is check out the position description.)

Every training will have an indoor class session partnered with an application/outdoor activity.  Each Forest Steward should learn something to take back to their site to use.

Please register to secure your spot in the training. Simply click on the training below you are interested in, read description and register. Take a look at the Frequently Asked Questions page for more information about the trainings series.  If you have any further questions, comments or ideas for additional trainings, please contact Andrea Mojzak at: andream@cascadeland.org, 206-905-6920
