Come be a part of restoring the forest at Colman Park!
Colman Park is an urban forest overgrown with invasive plants. With the help of volunteers we are removing these weeds and planting native trees and shrubs.
Where to meet: Meet on the pullout just past the p-patches after you enter the park.
What to bring: water and food for yourself, clothes for all weather conditions and boots/shoes that can get muddy.
Address and directions to site: Take I-90 to Rainier Ave S. Turn right off ramp onto Rainier (drive South) turn left onto Massachusetts, (at 29th the road snakes slightly), turn left onto 31st Street until Atlantic Street. Turn right onto Atlantic Street then right onto 32nd Street and then left on to Massachusetts. Turn right at the next stop sign onto Lake Washington Blvd. S and you'll be driving into Colman Park. Look for the City of Seattle (white) truck. Park on the curbside of the surrounding neighborhood streets.
